Kho Ping Hoo

Kho Ping Hoo or Asmaraman Sukowati Kho Ping Hoo (Sragen, August 17^th, 1926 - Solo, July 22^nd, 1994) is a great Indonesia writer, if not the greatest, of cerita silat genre. Even though he was educated only until the first grade of HIS (Hollandsche Inlandsche School), he had a lot of motivations and interests in reading and writing ^[1] He had written between 120 stories ^[2] and 140 stories ^[3] during his 30 years career. He had written stories in both Chinese and Javanese environments. He died in 1994 because of heart failure.
